spring season it's all right i'm ready to hit in the seventh right or i'm ready to hit in the ninth i know what's expected where other guys might be like hey i'm just trying to figure out who i'm going to put in the lineup starting nine and my my five weekend guys right and you sit you sit here and it's like all right maybe it's a different way of thinking right and that could be what led you guys to success right but again there's everyone's different and everyone's coaching style is different but if that works for you guys like It'd be interesting to see after this podcast who would adapt something like that.

I just think for us, it's about creating as much competition as possible and creating scenarios that are pressure filled.

In my opinion, if you end up just playing, say, okay, we're getting into our first weekend of inter-squads and we're just going to play a straight up, you know, 18 innings and just see what happens.

you know, you'll have the guys that say, okay, well, my first two at-bats, you know, weren't quality at-bats, but it's okay.

I'm just getting into the flow of the game.

You know, my third at-bat and fourth at-bat will be better.

But at that point, you don't know what the score is going to be.
