The reality is that scams do impact everybody and no matter what age you are, you are going to be targeted by some sort of a scam.

With regards to millennials, things like job scams have been incredibly prevalent.

Job scams are where scammers will use platforms like TikTok, Instagram, some sort of social media to draw you into doing small menial tasks and eventually getting to a point where you then need to invest some sort of money to get your money back.

Now this is happening quite often and it's really troublesome.

Anytime you're in a position where any job or employer is saying to you that you need to put money in to get money back out, that is guaranteed a scam.

There's not a lot of jobs that operate like that.

And if someone has been the victim of a scam, what should they do once they become aware of that?
