How do you even define coaching when someone's like, "Well, what is it you actually do?"
25:14
It's a great question.
25:15
So the first distinction I like to make is between coaching and consulting, 'cause a consultant will tell you what to do.
25:23
They're the one with the answers.
25:24
They have the plan.
25:25
And I think a lot of people think that's what they want, and there's a time and a place for that, of course.
25:31
But consulting, if I use my, my pilgrimage example, would be similar to saying, "Well, I can just, uh, drive to Santiago and I'll have arrived," but I didn't become.
28:02
I'm not enough." Where do you go with this?
18:38
I don't want cancer coaching, but thanks.
18:41
No, right? Ontological is about your way of being.
18:46
It focuses less on the goal line, I want to hit 10 million, and more on the soul line.
18:52
Who am I committed to becoming? Who do I need to become to be a founder that's ready to build a $10 million business? And working with that coach, Johan, was transformational.
19:04
Like one of the top three investments, return on investments I have ever made.
19:10
And about halfway, we worked together for a year, about halfway through, he invited me to a training for coaches.
19:18
And I was like, yeah, I still don't want to be a coach, but I would love to deepen my understanding of the tools.
