How do they approach that?
6:55
Well, typically people already have an established relationship with their insurance agent, and so they think to contact their agent first.

And their agent oftentimes will say, okay, you need to call a restoration company to come in, and then they'll help you with the claim portion of it.

And so then our team will go out, do a full assessment, Sometimes we do get called out for emergency situations where active water is coming in or a storm ripped off a portion of the roof or siding, and so we need to board that up, make sure the building is secured so that none of the external elements can get in and that it's safe to anybody that would try to get in or anything like that.

But yeah, then we do the full process of... demolition, cleanup, and then the repairs.

He can do a lot more as the public adjuster as far as negotiations than just our estimators can.
