Yeah
6:48
... um, you know, if I, if I, if the whole world was reading what I ate every week, [laughs] then I would definitely, like, have some more fruit.
6:56
So I would take that with a, with a little pinch of salt.
6:59
Um, so the reason why, you know, it's so important that you, you have to be honest with yourself is because it's your life.
7:07
There's no point working towards a life that you're not gonna be able to achieve and you don't want.
7:14
And like I mentioned before, you know, a lot of the rules are getting a bit outdated.
7:18
So the most famous one, the most famous budgeting rule, probably you guys know it, like, in your sleep, is the 50/30/20 one, where you put, um, 50% of your money into things that you need, like rent and food, and 30% into paying off bad debts, having an emergency fund, savings, and investments, in that order, and then 20% on things you want, like for example, a Netflix subscription or a lovely holiday.

Um, and, and making mistakes is a way that we learn, and sharing the mistakes that we've made with our friends, uh, Hannah D., is, is a huge thing.

21:44
Well, I don't know.
21:45
I think it's always been very, very in their philosophy to try and be the super app of, of, like, all things finance really.
21:52
I mean, the founders themselves were traders, so it's no surprise to me that they're moving into investing.
21:58
And it's like, I mean, they're a bank, they're a challenger bank that kind of launched offering, um, insurance and airport lounges and, like, currency exchange and a million other things at the same time, and it's, it's very characteristic of them to offer, like, off the top of my head, like currencies, um, crypto, stock, travel insurance, health insurance, like hotels, car rentals.
22:21
I mean, and this year as well, they recently became a bank, [laughs] and, um, they recently as well launched, um, b- like fractionalized bonds in Europe, which is, which is crazy difficult to do.
22:34
People talk about it all the time, but actually doing it, fractionalizing a bond the same way we're so used to fractionalizing a share, is wild.
