Like, talking about skiing, I went up with Mike Skinner, and we skied, I hadn't skied in years, and I'm on these little skis.

And he's like, oh, yeah, we're going to hit like Mount, mount grange i think it's called up um and around more xenovoria area he's like oh yeah we'll just hike up he's like have you got crampons i'm like what are crampons he's like oh they're the things that clip on clip on your boots or your skis or whatever so we're trekking up and i just see mount grange bro and i'm like are we skiing down there so i haven't skied in 10 years oh he's getting down this oh yeah we'll just go we'll hike up the side the snow is meant to be like all goods and so we just hit this fucking this cool bar bro and Skinner drops in blows a ski off like first turn like we're we're going down it we actually filmed a vlog on it and Skinner blows a ski off and it just bro it just goes down the ski's gone and so he takes his skis off then Angus drops in angus does his first turn blows his ski off and i'm sat there at the top like oh my god like what what am i gonna do so i just started coming down like being real cautious but my legs were shaking at the top and i hadn't even dropped in and like anyway it was just it was one of those things like you just gotta jump straight in the deep end and then you've done it and you like there's no working up to it you're straight in straight in the deep end straight away

what would that thanks for sharing with a bit more perspective now how how did you fill the void and like what's the goal moving forward

Yep.

And I figured that out and I started watching it, and I kind of had a bit of an insight to the world championship before that.

Um, but I never really kind of knew too much about it.

And so I was watching these and I was, I was sat there one day and it was the final round in Fabriano in Italy, and Jack Edmondson, who was the youth champion that year, there was a bit of like an inside story on him and it was him speaking and his dad showing him this line over the rocks and anyway, he went over these rocks and, and fell off.

And anyway, his dad kind of throws his hands in the air and kind of gets a bit pissed off and, and I was like, "Fuck.

Like this, this guy's a world champion.

He can't even ride over a few rocks." [laughs]
