Nice

... and then, you know, I think at that point, I'd say my, my third year at Arkansas was when I was like, "You know what? I really love golf.
8:33
I, I do love competitive golf, but I feel like I love talking about it more than I love [chuckles] pl- like pl- like having to make the ball go in the hole for my paycheck." Um, uh, and so ultimately, you know, there was a lot of back and forth having that realization.
8:49
There was a lot of guilt associated with that as well because I was like, "Man, I, I feel like, you know, I, I have the physical talent, I have the resources," but it just, it wasn't in my heart.
9:00
And, and I had to kinda get over that and be like, "Well, that's okay.
9:03
Like, that's maybe that you're just not meant to play professional golf.
9:06
Like, maybe there's something else that, that I'm really, uh, drawn to." So, um, ultimately, you know, like I said before, when I was, when I was little, I, I hated or didn't want anything to do with golf, but I was really into, um, acting and dancing and anything that, you know, was like entertainment.

Uh, do you like one or the other, or is it kind of a different challenge to go from one to the other thing?
5:06
So was it an inspiration? Or like, how would you explain what you and Andrew focus on at Better Co.?
5:11
Yeah, absolutely.
5:12
So it's 100% an inspiration.
5:14
Like my, my inspiration has always been like the Mannings or like Oprah or any of these people that are, you know, can kind of, I don't want to say like standalone, but basically they have their own personal brand and then they're able to leverage that to, to drive, you business to their business, if you will.
5:38
So that was kind of my inspiration.
5:40
And basically, I'm trying to do that in the golf space.
5:43
Right.

Like, how do you find a commercial kitchen? How do you get your product approved? How do you like, tell me about, you have this idea, how do you bring it to life? Yes.
16:49
As, as the child of a pro golfer turned famous instructor, what was your relationship with golf like growing up, and then how did you kinda land on your career and your own path within the game?
17:01
Yeah.
17:01
So like you said, I always kinda grew up around golf.
17:04
Didn't love it until I was about 13 or 14, but up until that point, like I was really into, uh, acting and tap dancing and like things like that.
17:15
So always loved to like entertain, always, you know, loved to try and make people laugh.
17:20
Um, and then had the opportunity to, to play golf in college, and I found myself being really drawn to, uh, wanting to tap into that, you know, making people laugh and entertain people.
17:31
And I would say I love golf like I love my parents.

I think, Hallie, of your hilarious, like, boys club sketches and everything like that, like, I guess, how is that, how have you felt that in your careers earlier on, and maybe do you still even feel it now, of the idea that, yeah, you have to have this, this crazy delusion that, yes, what, this idea I have in my head, people will, will resonate with?
