I guess maybe just a place to start is what is that and how do you see or what are you kind of your perspective on how people can use that to better manage their businesses?
5:44
That's a great question.
5:45
I think first, just to kind of dive into what we're talking about with AI.
5:49
Basically, the way I think of AI is just a broad category of technologies, and they will just learn from examples that you give it instead of a preset set of rules that are put in there.
5:59
So it's actually kind of thinking out loud, which is interesting to think about.
6:03
And what I always tell folks is just think about where you are already smart.
6:07
So that's going to be your animal husbandry, land stewardship.
JaredHOST
7:30
And what does that actually look like in practice? What things are there out there that you can pass off some of those roles to at this point and be confident that it's actually going to be able to do the job right?
6:40
you yourself use AI in ranching or you're seeing some of your Ambrook clients use it as well.
6:49
I'll start with how we're currently use it.
6:51
Just to give you a little bit of background, half of the year, my husband and I spend time on his family's ranch in Dell, Montana.
6:57
And then the other half of the year, we spend our time on a remote grazing association in Alder, Montana.
7:04
So we kind of split our year half and half And a couple of different ways I've been able to use it in order just to kind of save us time and really start to think thoughtfully about some bigger picture decisions is I've been using it to actually summarize sale catalogs.
7:18
And so what I've been able to do is I created a skill within Claude and it will actually have all of the parameters of what my father-in-law is looking for across different breeds, across different sets of EPDs, and then it will read the sale catalogs.
7:34
and actually ahead of time surface the bulls that we want to look at and then we as the humans will take that information and it just gives us a more condensed sale catalog when we actually go to the sales and that has saved hours i know he mentioned before he was looking through those and i started putting them into excel sheets like that he said it would take him several hours per sale and now it takes you know 15, 20 minutes for that to run just in the background while we're doing something else.

11 MINS LATER

18:31
Well, Haley, if listeners remember one thing from this conversation today, what do you want that to be?
1:04
And what's your role there?
1:05
I am a product specialist, and so I both help new folks learn about Ambrook and folks that have been on the platform for a while, just everything in between.
1:13
And no matter how complex they are, I help them learn Ambrook.
1:41
Then what do you tell them? What is Ambrook?
1:43
Hamburg is an accounting software for agriculture.
1:47
It's built for agriculture because a lot of times we have this really complex set of books.
1:54
And as I'm sure you know, a lot of people have several different enterprises within their business.
1:59
They might put up, hey, they might have a construction business on the side or a trucking business, and then they have their cow-calf operation.
