So maybe Haleh, you can start us off with a summary of what the goals of the agents program are and how this fits into the broader research agenda which Schmidt Sciences is interested in pursuing.
2:14
Of course.
2:14
So we have a new pilot program at Schmidt Sciences that focuses on research in multi-agent communications and coordination, and Schmidt Sciences is a philanthropic organization founded by Eric and Wendy Schmidt with a mission to accelerate scientific knowledge and develop tools to support a thriving planet.
2:34
And this includes research areas such as AI and advanced computing, which is where the agents program sits.
2:40
The premise is that as AI agents spread into the real world, their combined behavior gets harder to predict, and the problem will only grow as more agents are deployed that are built by a wider range of owners.
2:54
So we're beginning to see the emergence of a more complex ecosystem of agents deployed by different actors across shared infrastructure.
3:03
So these multi-principle, multi-agent interactions create new opportunities for cooperation but also present new risks.

Maybe, Haleh, I'll hand back to you for what does the future of the agents program look like? Where would you like to see this go going forwards?
