Guy WinstanleyGUEST
Um, this is a, a, a thermal blockYou can see here the electric elements sticking out of it, and the, um, uh, coil as we call it, which is the heat exchange, the way we get the heat out.

Guy WinstanleyGUEST
Uh, well, we make these by putting the rock, the heating elements, and the coil into a mold.

Guy WinstanleyGUEST
We then fill the mold up with rock, preheat it in our large ovens, and when it comes up to temperature, we take it out of the oven and put it underneath the, uh, tipping foundry, and pour molten aluminum into it to the top.

Guy WinstanleyGUEST
You can see in the oven here that's open, uh, some molds, uh, which are being prepared, but in the oven to the left here, which we're about to open for you to see a mold coming out, a- and, and also you'll get a feel of the heat as you come, uh, as the door opens.
