And so how do we upskill in a world where it is never achievable and that goalpost of being proficient continues to get ahead of us?

Skills, technical skills today have a shelf life of about two years, if you're lucky.

That means that you are constantly going to be having to ride the crest of technological churn.

Some people may remember Moore's Law.

Moore's Law was back in the 70s, 80s, and through the 90s was a doubling of processor speed every 18 months with a halving of the cost.

Remember that? That was sort of the law that dictated how processor evolution occurred.

How do we test or interview for these things as we recruit, hire, promote, and put into positions of real leadership these intangibles that seemingly are more important, but that are harder and harder to gauge in a standard interview process?
