And in terms of those impacts, what does that look like? Are you seeing job losses in those sectors? What's been the impact?

Yeah.

So, I mean, since the beginning of the trade war, so starting with the Section 232 sectoral tariffs, I think we've had about 1,500 to 2,000 losses or so.

A good chunk of those have I would say about 500 or so have been permanent job losses with some steel mill closures further down the valley chain in southern Ontario.

We have a good chunk of our forestry wood products members that are also on layoff.

It's been localized to those sectors, but definitely a concern.

We also have a good chunk of our members in those sectors that obviously have have less production demand, less product demand for the products that they're making.

And how has your union responded to these latest tariffs affecting the forestry sector and, of course, to the tariffs going back to March of 2025 affecting steel and aluminum? What's been the response from the steel workers?
