Go, go, go ahead.

Re- no, I really wanted to, to touch on something that Brandon just highlighted, which I think is very important, is, uh, I think one of the beauty about-- one of the beauties about bodybuilding is, uh, that really it, it, it really tends to be like, like an older person's sport.
7:46
U-usually, uh, most young people, because they haven't been lifting for that long, um, it, it, it's gonna be very difficult for them to go up against a, a person that's in their, uh, early, mid, uh, thirties, forties, uh, because they've just spent that much more time in, in the gym doing it over and over again, time and time again.
8:06
Uh, so it's, it's very different.
8:08
And to give you an example, uh, actually, uh, uh, last year, uh, at, at, uh, the NPC Universe Championships, the, the fifty and over, uh, winner actually beat the forty and over, and beat the thirty-five and over, uh, and beat actually the open, the open class guy.
8:26
So, so here you have a person in, in their fifties that actually beat, you know, some of the, the younger time frames.
8:32
And, uh, uh, I'm gonna give a personal note.

If you were to address a young professional, or maybe a professional who's starting to look at maybe moving in a d- different direction, uh, Brandon and I were talking before recording about the changes in college athletics with NIL, so there may be strength coaches or personal trainers who are looking to move to a place where they can have clients and be successful in a career and s- and stay in, in the strength and conditioning field, what's the role, would you say, for a young strength and conditioning professional if they're looking to maybe break into bodybuilding, uh, or to work with bodybuilding or physique athletes? Because I don't think that's something that's given in the typical college education.
