What's the value of sprinkling in those folks into your leadership groups?

Yeah, so I think I'll start with that, with chiefs or leaders from fire emergency services organizations that aren't from your immediate area.

So like you said, a chief from Florida or on the East Coast for us.

I think that's important because it just brings that added perspective.

And in some ways, that perspective is... oh, we're not that much different.

We have the same issues, we have the same problems.

They may look a little bit different, but I think sometimes that's reassuring in some ways that, oh, across the country, they're having the same issue as we are.

One, how do people get involved with groups like this? And then second, what would you suggest to anybody that wanted to start their own group?

And so what I'm curious to hear your thoughts on is at what point is that experience engaging versus distracting in your own opinion?

Yeah, I think it comes down to the fine details.

When it comes to motion, I'm in there at every tenth of the second.

I'm changing all the speed graphs so stuff has, you know, a nice pleasant start and beginning to it and stuff's very minor.

So I think to that point too, it shouldn't be a distraction.

It's kind of like good design.

Like you don't notice good design until you see bad design, especially like typesetting is always a big one for me.

So I'm just curious, this is a little different, but with this topic of distraction that we're talking about, I'm curious if you've heard about or thought about frictional design at all, or if that's a part of your process.
