But, um, you know, I mean, what, what's your kind of like grand take on, on the, the dangers of random rock fall in a place like, like Yosemite in terms of, of to climbers?

Greg StockGUEST
And, you know, there's, there's not a lot of really obvious signs of, um, you know, imminent rock falls beyond just either avoiding climbing in areas that have experienced recent rock fall, because it is often the case that- There'll be multiple rockfalls from the same location over a period of weeks or months, sometimes even years.

Greg StockGUEST
Certainly if, like, if you hear any cracking sounds or something like that, you know, you should get out of there.

Greg StockGUEST
By the numbers, you know, there have been a few fatalities and a few more injuries to climbers from naturally occurring rockfalls, but, you know, by the numbers, it's not anywhere close to the number of injuries and fatalities from climbing-related accidents of one kind or another.

Greg StockGUEST
Um, so I don't think that climbers should be, like, especially paranoid about rockfalls, but I do think that they should be aware.
