When a private equity firm consolidates practices under a single ownership umbrella, how does the risk profile change for malpractice, employment liability, cyber, general operations, e- e- et cetera? Uh, and are the PE-backed groups typically getting the insurance right?
22:51
So we represent both private equity and medical practices, so [laughs] I need to be careful here.
22:57
[laughs] But I think this is, you know, an advantage because we, we sit on both sides of the table of, of these tran- transactions.
23:07
I do see PE, PE firms get this wrong.
23:11
Generally, it's the smaller ones, um, break, you know, that are trying to break into the healthcare sector, and some of these situations have been really good for me because we've been able to get them as clients when they see that this is our, our, our real niche.
23:26
Um, one of the, one of the places that I see an issue with quite frequently is ownership.

37:50
...
37:52
I just survived because I was just kind of slow and steady, and people...
37:58
I think it was the highest DNF rate in a full Ironman in history.
38:01
I don't remember if that, that still holds, but it was, like, something like 38% of people DNF'd.
38:09
It, it was, it was so hot on the, on the run.
38:12
And I got a calf cramp at mile 25 on the marathon, and one would say, okay, you know, 104 degrees, dehydrated.

16 MINS LATER

54:35
Like, how did you get back to it? I guess that's just as interesting 'cause you, you were struggling so much at Kona and after, and then you get the diagnosis, and is it medication that helped you or is it something else that helped you get back?
