looking at here? So this is a Shelby Cobra Daytona.

So I mean, everybody is aware of the Shelby Cobra, but this is something really special.

This is their adaptation to be competitive at Daytona, Le Mans, all the big endurance races.

So this was sort of their skunk works development that they put together to be competitive with the likes of Ferrari back in the 60's.

Yeah, and they're very rare, right? Like how many are there? I think about six of them, if I have my numbers correct.

Last time we've seen one of these sell was 2009.

At the same time, it's a 106, and it's just incredible.

I mean, just look at the market.

I think like if there's a lot of money floating around, as Dave said in the intro, there is so much money at the top end of the income bracket, I guess, if you want to call it that, that, you know, you might as well cash in while things are still looking good.

And I think that, you know, everybody had, you know, did their best to bring out the best cars this year.

And it was, I mean, it was pretty incredible.

I mean, RM had two, sorry, three headlining cars, and that's before their charity lot.

But I was more surprised that the Corvette Grand Sport didn't bring more in light of the Daytona Coupe sale the night before.

Yeah, I mean, to be honest with you, even I would say the smartest minds in the industry are still scratching their heads to an extent as to what the heck is going on.

But yeah, late model Ferraris are inexplicably hot.

I mean, you can... there's a bunch of different theories that you can pose on that one, but, um, you know, the best one I can, I can think of is, um, you know, the Ferrari keeps coming out with, uh, better and better new models and they're harder and harder to get.

So what's a better way than to, uh, pad your collection and show them that you're a, um, a major Ferrari collector and in hopes of getting that call one day for the next exclusive car.
