What's it mean to be a part of something for the Warrior for Life Fund?
11:17
Well, what they do is incredible.
11:18
And I met those guys probably six months ago, found out what they do down at Virginia Beach.
11:26
And it's incredible.
11:27
We spend a lot of time in sports, you guys, us, talking about concussions and head injuries and how that can be changed the way we approach sports.
11:40
But we don't talk about it at all when it comes to the men and women who are our warriors.
11:47
I have zero balls.
14:12
I don't know how, but talk a little bit about that because it's such a great, great thing to do.
6:37
There's like this, this sense of trust that is just formed, and I thought I'd, I'm gonna ask you, what do you think it is? What are the foundations of trust? And then what is it about certain leaders that you just feel safe with them to trust them?
6:54
Yeah.
6:55
I love the question, Andrea, 'cause I think that when I look at trust, and you said it, whe-whether it's our own personal relationships, family relationships, business relationships, I don't think there is a word that is more important that we are aware of and that we want to make sure that people feel from us as well as within our teams and organization, is that they feel safe and that they're trusted to do what they say they're going to do, but also that they trust their leaders.
7:32
And that framework for me is like, I, I wanna always be truthful.
7:37
I want to be consistent in my conversations.
7:41
I want there to...
7:43
I wanna be able to demonstrate competence in my leadership, but also in what we're doing on a day-to-day basis, and I'm showing that I genuinely care about a person's success.

14:40
The opposite of, of the trust is, is when you're micromanaged and, and then you shut down and don't try, or you're not going to put yourself out there, right? Would you say?
15:22
Do you see any real lessons from your experience with the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association and oil and gas or leadership? Where do you see a connection there?
15:33
Well, first off, we hired every ex-rodeo boy or girl that we could find.
15:41
Wow, why? They're fantastic employees.
15:45
They're hard workers.
15:46
They're hard workers.
15:48
They can take a beating.
15:49
I worked on ranches from the time I was 11 to 22.

21 MINS LATER

36:47
So speaking of innovation, what do you think, what technologies, I mean, AI has got to be on the list, but AI and what other technologies really get you excited today about the future for oil and gas?

21:19
And Greg, you found something interesting today.
21:22
I did.
21:22
Well, the other day, uh, somebody left a business card on my car at the transit park and ride, um, somebody named Master Ram G.
21:31
And apparently-
21:32
[laughs]
21:33
...
21:33
he is pretty incredible, because he is specialized, and I quote, "In removing all types of negative energy, black magic, voodoo, obeah, enemy jealousy, witchcraft, batu, jadu, tona curse, bad luck, evil things, and bad spirits."
