Well, on the gold standard website, it says that you're a quote, progressive bluegrass band, unquote, describe what that means.

Greg DaigleGUEST
Yeah, it definitely sounds like a vague blanket term so they know where to put us in the record bin in the record store.

Greg DaigleGUEST
But I think one of the things that when you hear the word bluegrass, especially now because we're generations removed from that first generation, where bluegrass was really shaped.

Greg DaigleGUEST
But you think about the elements of bluegrass and a big part of it is it's string band music, right? There's no percussion.

Greg DaigleGUEST
So all the rhythms and everything has to come from the attack and the rests that the band makes to make the grooves work and everything.

Greg DaigleGUEST
You think vocal stacks, vocal harmonies, you think a lot of that kind of that two step, the two beat cycles and stuff.

Greg DaigleGUEST
And we definitely bring all those sensibilities in, you know, we do some, some standards covers and whatnot, but progressive just really is such a vague term, but to, to, You know, like I said, we've got to associate with something and bluegrass is something we all really love a lot.

Rob MarnochaHOST
You kind of addressed it earlier, but kind of go a little more in depth than that.
