yeah and i remember like watching clips and i was like oh man this is so sick and then i remember uh it was that tour that you actually did it was like it was excel uh zavalva and rotting out and i played like soda bar and uh at that time i was like so pumped and i remember just watching you guys rip and i was like it just sounded so killer and i was like oh hell yeah like you know because it can be like hit and miss with you know maybe bands from back then that haven't kept it up or maybe they took like a long pause and now they're like trying to get back into it and so already it was just like slamming so as a fan i was like pumped and then you know just kind of watching you guys throughout you know if i could catch a show there and there and uh yeah i mean like uh mike messina was i mean managing excel and he was like managing take offense at the time so and then you know call it and you know you would come down because your dad would live uh your dad lives in vista and that's where standards records is at so and then we kind of just kind of got like looped into each other and then when like the time opened up to do it i was like so pumped and i i think i like uh i sent two clips to sean like i i played uh was i think i did like a never denied and um like i've like once our back spot and i i turned my amp up and like had the song playing and i just like rocked it and sent it to him and then like yeah and then um we got our uh our drummer uh damon who lives in san diego and uh he's just like such a ripping drummer and uh he played still plays in his band phoenix tx that was like a like pop punk kind of like pop punk band from the 90s um and but he's just like grew up listening to like thrash and uh he's also like a really good drum instructor too.

101:26
So, uh, we all kind of just linked up and, you know, played that first jam and, uh, we practice and it was just like, It was just like, oh, hell yeah.
