What does this transmission look like on the ground today when you're out there talking to data centers and other customers?
8:14
Yeah.
8:14
I guess I'll kind of double down on the data center power generation side.
8:19
I, I, I think the-- what is very different is the scale and the pace of some of these projects.
8:26
I mean, it used to be unheard of that, you know, that you would see a gigawatt project, and now we're seeing, you know, five, ten gigawatt projects come across our desk, and we've really kind of had to reimagine and re-architect how we look at these projects.
8:43
Uh, it's almost...
8:45
So Schneider, our approach, at least on these larger ones, is to look at them more as privatized utilities.

So Greg, explain to us what a Frankenstein microgrid is.
3:14
Castle focused on the move to on-site power generation.
3:20
One thing that you've been really shocked on is just this complete shift in how rapidly this happened to having more of the on-site power generation for data centers.
3:33
And again, if you haven't seen the Bluebird article, they quantify roughly 114 gigawatts per second in their bird generation.
3:41
That's either in development or being claimed to be built in the next five years.
3:48
Just for context, that's 20% the entire peak load of the United States.
3:54
It would basically be the equivalent of France and the UK combined.
3:59
And that is behind your power generation.

Castle pointed to the opportunity for data centers to interconnect faster if they provide community benefits.
