Uh, so as I characterize it, did I get it correct?
28:40
No, you're right.
28:41
Uh, I mean, one of the issues that we brought up in our testimony was that, you know, what does it mean to vilify? What speech actually humiliates? And as you know, uh, many times legislators consider many Christian beliefs, uh, when they're expressed, especially regarding, uh, sexuality or gender, they accuse us of, you know, hating people, right? That's the farthest thing from my mind, but w- we are simply advocating for our view that sex is determined by biology and God created us both male and female.
29:15
Well, to many people, that is humiliating and that incites, uh, hatred, and so that's the problem with this legislation.
29:24
But could, theoretically, I mean, a church then forced to train their staff with policies that are antithetical to biblical teaching? I mean, that, that's essentially what's being set up here.
29:37
Right.
29:38
Well, currently all, uh, businesses with more than, more than five employees, that's pr- uh, for profit, uh, nonprofit, they're already required to go through sexual harassment training.
29:51
And we found out several years ago they redefined what sexual harassment means to include gender identity.
32:43
okay, buddy.
32:45
The ceremony, because it's a banner year, we are getting a bit more funding than we would usually get.
32:54
And because our forces are really recognizing it this year with sending people to Beaumont Hamilton itself, So there's like more focus on it.
33:06
And as I spoke to you a couple of years ago, given that it is a Wednesday, I expect more people because Monday and Tuesday, you know, Canada Day, they take it off and Thursday and Friday.
33:16
So I'm hoping to have more people this year.
33:20
And because it's 110th, as we did for the 100th, more people tend to come out because it's a banner year, I call it.
33:27
So other than that, the ceremony is almost exactly the same.
34:08
Tell us about that and what a mess dinner is about and why that's important, too.
