3:21
So what brought you to this point?
3:23
So, I mean, there's a number of points that I've gotten to, if that makes sense, right? So I just got back from a coin conference in Canada where I was speaking about rare coins.
3:34
I do a lot of work with rare coins and numismatics.
3:37
So there's a whole story in my life where I travel this story and end up at the point where I'm invited to conferences to speak about rare coins and numismatics, which is a totally offshoot angle we don't need to get into today.
3:49
But the point is, When telling and recounting one story, we have to pick a lane, right? So the lane that I'll pick for today is the one that puts me on stages at all.
3:59
And it happened totally by accident.
4:00
I actually signed up for a class when I was in sixth grade on coin collecting, an after school course on coin collecting.

13:59
So can you give us a few soundbites around your seven strategies you're proposing to people? Sure.
1:46
Yeah.
1:47
The second came a week ago, and the book's been out for a year and a half.
1:51
When the book came out, I was gonna do this whole promotional campaign, and I mentioned the book quite a few times, but I let it kind of rest.
1:59
And I think psychologically it was like, "Oh, it's out.
2:02
It's released.
2:03
Let it go for now." And recently I was talking to somebody who said, "You know what? Make every day for the rest of your life a book launch day." And I said, "Oh, wow, okay.
2:11
I'll consider that." Well, I had to do a keynote in Michigan last week, and in preparation for the keynote to satisfy specifically what the client wanted, which was ideas from the book, I revisited my own book.
5:11
So give us just a little background on how Greg got to be where he is.
8:32
I thought that was fascinating.
8:34
I'm glad.
8:34
I mean, I really, to be completely honest, I think about this stuff all the time and it's always a work that is ongoing.
8:43
I was influenced and I speak from the stage about the Situationist Internationale, who were a group of authors in France in the late 1960s.
8:52
And there was a man named Guy Debord and Debord wrote a book called Society of the Spectacle.
8:58
And this is an influential book on me and society.
9:00
The spectacle is a difficult book to read.

So you don't know what it's like to be somebody who can't do that and then discovers how to.
