How do you separate that boundary and say, okay, well, we don't want to replicate what's been so successful, but also stay there, if you understand what I'm trying to say.

Yeah, no, I think that's where it's great to have a team that really gets your sound, like a producer that really gets your sound and have other feedback.

Because I think as an artist, sometimes you can get kind of narrow minded with the lane.

And so having like, you know, the other input from people that are like, hey, like, this sounds great.

I agree, because I think sometimes a lot, especially nowadays, a lot of albums and things sound the same.

But occasionally, it's not bad to have the mindset of if it ain't wrote You know, you don't got to fix it.

What are your thoughts around this?

Was there a time where it felt more like something you had to fight or hide rather than own? And when did it finally click as your superpower on stage?

It used to be a little bit of a self-conscious thing for me.

And then I went on The Voice.

And of course, I was doing The Voice just because I was like, heck, I'm going to try out.

Not because I ever thought I had the best voice or that I'd win.

It was just kind of something I thought I'd do.

And then I got to meet Kelly Clarkson, which I personally believe she is one of the best artists and singers of our generation.

When you perform those personal songs on stage, how much of you is actually present? Has a performance ever unlocked an emotion that you didn't expect?
