What was it like to spend this much time around her and her everyday grind?

I'm so glad that you call that out because that was a real intentional approach in our edit was we wanted to show the rhythm of caretaking and also the sacrifice that is required in that caretaking.
9:32
And that is... a thread that we are pulling throughout the film here.
9:39
And we don't always name it explicitly, but you see Susan and Andrew do that work themselves every day.
9:47
They are in there feeding those horses, mucking out stalls, you know, filling water buckets, letting horses in and out to pasture.
9:57
And what we filmed, but often ended up on the cutting room floor was rushing a horse to veterinary care, you know, dealing with the stresses of caring for 60 lives.
10:10
And what we, one great unspoken part of all of that, that we actually learned from Susan and Andrew in this process is that caretaking is a form of communication.

So in terms of calls to action, what can everyday people do to support Susan Cain's work and to become part of the solution to this terrible problem that the Susan Cains of the world has dedicated so much to combating and fighting and doing it with so much love on a daily basis?
