But maybe not quite the same kind that, say, Caesars Palace Las Vegas could offer a serious young architecture student on his first visit there in the 1990s.

I'll never forget driving up to the porte cochere of Caesars, and then being greeted by, you know, a Caesars-esque figure dressed in Roman centurion gear, opening the door, and then in you came to the fantasy.

I am a partner with Mackay Wong, and our company focuses on casino interiors, uh, hotel interiors, and, uh, hospitality interiors.

In there was a lot of the old style casino trappings, the chandeliers, the crazy carpets, lots of marble, lots of mahogany, and lots of sculptures.

And then a group of actors moving through the gaming floor dressed as, uh, Caesar and Cleopatra with a whole, [laughs] with a whole mob of people behind them, too.

For me, it was my first gambling experience as well, and learned a hard-

They want our money, but Gordon Mackay admits that in the past, the casino interior played mind games with us.

But do you want to give us an overview of how you like working and how things have changed over the time you've spent working on projects particularly?

One incident came to mind as you're, uh, describing that, and it was a long time ago when I, um, joined a particular organization.

And, uh, a manager, big open plan office, manager came up to me and he said, "Have you not got my email?" in a very sharp way.

And I said, "Um, I was actually in, in, enveloped in doing something," writing a document or something, or going through a spreadsheet, whatever it was.

And I said, "I've not, not, not been looking at my email.

I set aside time to do my email." And he was furious.

He said, "I expect you to respond to an email when I send it" kind of thing.

But what, what would be your take on that?
