so cool.
13:05
Sensational.
13:07
Look at the undercarriage.
13:08
I know that the listener is obviously...
13:09
Butch! Goodness me.

What a

or locals from one sound I don't know and they were at the show and they were taking part of the

air show crowd So that was going to be one of my questions, actually, was to what extent was this just put on for the benefit of foreigners, or was it indeed something that was kind of all about engaging with locals?
31:08
Yeah
31:08
...
31:08
Mirage IIID, uh, duo.
31:10
Um, of course, the French have been doing these duo displays for many, many years now, going all the way back to the likes of Voltage Victor and Rafa Mike back in the day with the, with the Jag duo.
31:20
Um, brilliant.
31:21
Absolutely brilliant display.
31:22
Um, I mean, it's not often that you catch yourself literally smiling during a display, but, um, the last fast pass by the, by the two Mirage 2000s, um, literally the burner on for the entire length of the crowd line.

heat...
36:38
on uh you know we all know what airfields are like sort of open barren no cover not not a huge amount of cover that is that is getting dangerous at that at that level and and as much as there was a lot of very good flying and fair play to to all the crews who must have been struggling with the heat themselves pretty much everything that had arrived because there were a few um cancellations again but um Everything that had arrived and was due to display pretty much did, which under the conditions, big kudos to all of the display crews for going ahead with that.
37:11
It was getting unpleasant.
37:14
I was in attendance with a friend, not somebody I know particularly well, but a friend of a friend, essentially.
37:23
And he was suffering so badly that he had to remove himself from the airfield And it turned out that he was, in fact, very unwell indeed.
37:31
And again, kudos to Belgian Air Force paramedics who looked after him and made sure that he got the care that he needed.
37:38
He thought it was heat stroke.
TomHOST
41:21
yeah um yeah
TomHOST
5:55
I apologise.
5:58
Twat.
6:00
Yeah, no, so basically just the Greek Phantom, star of the show at Florin, flew on both show days.
6:07
Wonderful to see a Phantom in the air again at an airshow.
6:11
Not a full demo.
6:12
Certainly not if anyone was familiar with the old RAF or Luftwaffe demos, which were fully aerobatic.
6:19
This was more just a series of passes in different configurations, but nonetheless wonderful to see.

It's a hell of a long way for you, I guess.
TomHOST
5:47
Wow.
5:48
And, uh, to g- afford seminary and to, to afford what I was doing, I started a marketing business way back in '03.
5:55
So the whole time I was doing that world, I had two businesses.
5:59
I was a pastor, but I was also in marketing and consulting and that kind of thing.
6:03
Uh, and in 2020, uh, I retired.
6:06
I, I had been in ministry 20 years.
6:08
I didn't wanna move my family again.

Right.
TomHOST
6:33
Wow.
6:33
And, uh, to g- afford seminary and to, to afford what I was doing, I started a marketing business way back in '03.
6:40
So the whole time I was doing that world, I had two businesses.
6:44
I was a pastor, but I was also in marketing and consulting and that kind of thing.
6:48
Uh, and in 2020, uh, I retired.

I, I had been in ministry 20 years.

I didn't wanna move my family again.

24 MINS LATER

ZeusHOST
30:54
Yeah.
34:56
He did like you though, didn't he, mate?
34:58
No, you needn't ask him.
35:00
The good thing with this guy, you get a wee 15 minutes at the start of training.
35:02
Usually you keep your distance, but he came over one day and... he's box office Brendan and that's what people would call and he like saddled up right next to me like this and he folded his arms so it became as if like me and him were watching training together and I was like this is a bit weird and I'm looking at my watch begging for my 15 minutes to be up like so I have to go in my head I got like in a box just got his I don't know stood on or something he goes down he's ah And he goes to me, don't worry, I'm serious.
35:30
And I'm like, alright, I wasn't worried at all.
35:35
That was brilliant, man.
35:36
And then I didn't know, I was quite awkward and I go, I saw the Japanese boys, I take it they're quite, you know, you see what you get, they're quite hardy and he's, oh, oh, the Japanese.
39:11
