Uh, Gordon, would you mind telling us a little bit about what led to your involvement in the field and what your journey's been like?

Well, um, I've had a long journey.

Uh [laughs] I, I first encountered behavior analysis as an undergraduate back about 1969.

Um, and so then I eventually went to graduate school.

Uh, University of Texas at Arlington had, uh, a mentor who was behavior anal- uh, behavior analytics, uh, like Jim Copp, who was one of Harlan Lane's students, who was one of Skinner's students, if you trace the genealogy there.

But, um, you know, I was exposed initially, uh, to experimental analysis of behavior.
