Wildlife biologist and founder of the fRI Research Grizzly Bear Program in Hinton, Alberta, which he led from 1998 and whose work produced Alberta's first provincial grizzly population estimates.

Well, so the first inventory we did, and remember, I was, at the time, I was on secondment from the government of Alberta.
