Tell me about that, and what did it expose about the gap between the career you imagined for yourself, the life you imagined for yourself, and the life that you were currently living at the time?

So I was working at Lehman Brothers right out of college, and I was what's called a lock desk coordinator.

So now it's all done by computers, but back then you had to lock in bonds, lock in mortgages.

So it's just kind of a manual labor, pushing paper.

Wanted to become a financial advisor.

Why'd you start it? How'd you start it? And how'd that go?

I mean, not till you get to training camp, not till they look at real, live blitz looks, not till they start practicing against somebody, and, and not till they, you know, he has to go up there and thud it up versus a, a, a really good linebacker, and you're not gonna do that in OTAs, and you're not gonna do that in those situations.

You're gonna, you're gonna get him ready mentally.

You're gonna get him where he knows who to go to or where, where all of them know who to go to or who they have.

But, uh, uh, to me, the question becomes from a physicality standpoint, are, are, are, are either one of those guys physical enough to go, you know, to go do what Javonte does, which is protect the quarterback? I mean, I, I, I think, I think Blue showed you he can run the ball.

I think he's shown you, you know, he, he runs with his eyes, and he can do some things that are good.

Completely off topic, coach, have you ever been a part of an agonizing roster decision?

But even if you needed to go out and get another kind of high quality position, you're probably not doing it until either right before training camp because you, you, you've got a deal in place and you wanna bring them in to get them used to it, or until after training camp when you've seen what you've got on your, on your roster and maybe you feel like you need one more move to kind of put you over the top.

Yeah, I think it's more, I think it's more of a health issue.

Hey, where, where are we at with Bland? Where, where are we at with Ezerachi? What, what, what does he look like moving around? Is he still 238, 40 pounds, light mass? Uh, do, do we need to address maybe, uh, another guy? And then who might that other guy be? Is, is it, are they looking back at some, maybe some film of Clowney when he played in a 34 defense or some things from Bosa? Are they, uh, you know, are they really feeling strong about whether Ravel is, is, is, is gonna be in great shape and ready to go? And if he's not, then we better, we b- better bring Adoree Jackson in here and look at him and just see what he looks like on the hook.

So I think there's a lot of things that they're talking about.

I- is it over with? I, I don't believe it's over with.

I, I think absolutely you could see, uh, them go sign another running back.

Um, I, I don't know that they feel confident in who the two would be right now, and certainly, uh, you, you never wanna wish anything on anybody, but the depth is, is, is, is, is strong, and the way that Giovante held up last year was pretty impressive.

Chiefs, Chiefs GM Brett Veach said that he is expecting a lot of first round action, which means, you know, there, there, there could be a lot of first round jockeying going on here.

So I, my gut feeling is, again, you combine what guys are saying, these GMs, what they're saying, and then you say, okay, there are four teams that have more than one first round pick.

I've been saying all along, uh, I've got six def- true first round defensive grades.

Uh, I think you're gonna have 12 true first round grades.

So now h- h- h- here, here's where the bidding begins.
