Pacello from the Institute Oncology of Renina in Italy comments on the results of the Phase II chlamydia study of perioperative chemoimmunotherapy in the study of EGFR.
4:15
Yes, we present the first results of the Chimera Phase II study.
4:20
The Chimera study is a Phase II clinical trial, a single-arm trial, enrolling patients with potentially resectable epithelioid or biphasic pleural mesothelioma.
4:31
Patients received three cycles of induction chemoimmunotherapy with platinum, pemetrex and pembrolizumab, followed by lung-sparing surgery and adjuvant pembrolizumab, up to 14 cycles.
4:43
The particular thing of this trial is that the surgical procedure was centralized at two high-volume centers, and the enrollment of the 41 patients were across eight Italian centers in 12 months.
4:58
So among the primary endpoint was the pathological complete response rate.
5:03
And among these 41 patients enrolled, 39 proceeded to surgery with a complete macroscopic resection rate of 95%.
