And, um, we were kinda worried, me and her family, and I stood there.

I kept trying to get into the circle of getting close to the building, looking for her, obviously hoping she was downstairs already, but I couldn't find her.

So as I go to the building from Liberty Street, I was stopped by two officers and, you know, I said, "Hey, I, I understand something's going on, but I'm trying to find my wife.

She works at the World Trade Center, and, um, I'd, I'd like to try to get through." She's like, "You can't go." And I'm like, "Why not?" "Well, we just got word that another plane is coming." And that's when my, my face kinda like, like it still gives me chills thinking about that word that, you know, another plane is coming.

Now you're thinking you're under attack.

You kinda feel like, you know, I've never been to war.

Those things hit me so hard.

They do.

It's an honor.

It's a hard thing to get used to, especially in the beginning when it first happened.

I was actually at the scene because at the time I worked for Con Edison and one of my bosses had reached out to me knowing my wife worked at the World Trade Center and said, you know, I don't know what's going on, but Plane hit the building and we're the first ones notified pretty much because of transformers that are in the building.

You know, everything that our equipment is stored for the lighting and all of that.

How is this happening?

What is the actual number on the petition right now?

It's 81,952, I believe.

And when we spoke, I only had about 1,500, 2,000.
