And how do you help clients think about the distinction between financial and personal value?

Giovanna LagutaineGUEST
Usually, and the best collectors certainly don't buy art because they want to double their investment.

Giovanna LagutaineGUEST
talking to their circle of friends or their social circle, defining their values, also in front of their families.

Giovanna LagutaineGUEST
Many people who arrive at money, it's interesting, I had a chat at a private jet company the other day, and we were talking about after they've bought the plane it is important for them to furnish it properly and then the art that goes in it because the art is what your friends will see what will define who you are and so what we do when we talk to our clients is actually first of all understand the reasons why they collect, help them to actually find what they look for and also help to give a balance about wanting it for your pleasure or for all the reasons that we actually discussed before, but also investing your money correctly, because collectors invest a lot of money, each of us at our own level, but actually put a lot of money into art.
