It may sound like a silly question, but how would you say to get to know your horses? It may sound silly, but what are some things that you do to make sure you get to know them? Well,
13:23
one thing is how they come in the barn.
13:26
And then we have the stalls that they go in.
13:30
And we ask them to back out of the stalls.
13:32
If a horse is flighty or comes out real quickly, that horse, I would be more put with an advanced rider just because they're showing me sensitivity.
13:44
You have horses that you go to bridle them and they move their head quickly or they've been... maybe abused somewhere down the line.
13:54
So you can work through that with good ground handling when you're working around a horse and the horse always knows where you are.
