Before we get into legal operations, I'd love for you to tell us a little bit about your career background and how you found your way into working within an in-house legal team.

Yeah, I'm also surprised that I'm in an in-house legal team.

From the early days of my career, I had a history of automating myself out of my jobs.

I would find the patterns, find the connections and figure out how to streamline it and connect it and then automate my work.

I find that's a pattern through my whole career.

Whatever job I'm doing, I always end up doing this kind of thing.

Whatever the title is, I still end up doing this kind of work.

So when you've got all of this information about the processes and the systems and the information, what has to get done? When that's primarily existing in someone's head, how do you get that out? Like what's the next step or what's the first step in operationalizing or trying to make that more efficient?
