You've talked about your life as a family and what it's like to be on the ground, but how has the war in particular, these most recent wars, affected your experience as a midwife? What are the complications that come about because of that? What are some of the amazing stories that have happened as you've operated in this way?

So women's health is an incredible field.

And unlike maybe other parts of medicine, women's health and particularly labor and delivery don't stop in war.

They don't pause.

And they also don't take into consideration the outer context of bombs falling or bombs not falling.

So everything's changed.

And the beautiful part of our job here is that we're able to be with women wherever they are as they need us.
