Gila AzradGUEST
I heard that it mostly was about the parents, and the research was about the parents' assumptions or attitudes toward Hebrew.

Gila AzradGUEST
And I've been in Jewish education for a long time, and I know that in the beginning when I came here, I also was very worried about the situation of Hebrew.

Gila AzradGUEST
in the jewish world because is it wasn't as strong it wasn't as professional but i have to say that for the last i think maybe 20 15 years we can see a big change in the hebrew subject and i personally believe the more you are engaged in the classroom the more you are learning meaningful things what you are learning it's not the issue anymore because think about the world right now with all the technology and all the internet and ai right now what is this going on and how do we still manage to keep the study in the classroom with the teacher with the students so the more the kids feel engaged the more the kids feel that kind of interaction i believe they will learn anything and once the kids really enjoy the classroom because they feel their learning is meaningful the parents are walking along with us we have a lot of joy and a lot of engagement toward the hebrew subject if anything i will get now emails that say wow we are so happy my boy wants to jump a level because in our school from fourth grade all the way to eighth grade we have levels of hebrew Part of it because we have so many heritage learners and they are fighting to go up, to do more, to succeed more.

Gila AzradGUEST
I personally think the more professional we are about the subject we are teaching, everybody around us perceives us differently.

Roman ShnaiderGUEST
This is my opinion that I see as a teacher, 11 years almost well in the same school, high school, not religious, I want to put it, and as a researcher as well.

Gila AzradGUEST
I think part of the job of the Hebrew teachers, and I believe any teacher, is to teach and educate the parents about the subject matter.
