So I think to get started, uh, why don't you tell us a little bit about how you got started representing agents and, and, and, uh, representing general managers and coaches, uh, in the National Hockey League.

I'll take you back a little further than that.

Um, I was involved in the, uh, financial business when I was in my, uh, 20s and early 30s, and, uh, got the opportunity to do a presentation in, uh, the Hamilton Tiger Cats and Toronto Argonauts locker rooms, uh, about a tax-deferred annuity, which was available to professional athletes in the late '70s, early '80s.

And one thing led to another, and I was meeting with football players, uh, helping them save some tax.

And one guy asked me to negotiate his contract, and, uh, the rest is history.

My financial business was up here, and the little sports thing was down here, and then it kind of went like that.

Walk us through permissions and who pays what if the, if the coach gets another job with another team during the term of his old contract with the team that fired him.
