Before I do begin, I'd like to take a moment to remember and honour the lives of our disabled comrades who have been killed by inadequate access to support, both directly and indirectly, and I extend this to carers and supporters of disabled comrades at their end from burnout without support.

My sibling has been an NDIS participant since his pilot program, joining the scheme of the young child.

The NDIS refers to him as someone with significant and permanent disability.
