number five Jerry all right so mine is little drummer boy by Joan Jett so and I actually had to just defend this on an episode I did recently but I've always i i like this song it's fun i remember uh hearing it and it's just um what's interesting about it is that it's the typical you know little drummer but it's got the palm muted guitar so it's a little bit heavy so that kind of satisfies some of my more rock sensibilities but there's this cool section it's like an interlude and then at the end again where they they go from the tonic which is we're in the key of c so they go from the one chord to a flat seven major chord so like a b flat it's not in the key it's just like a typical thing that you hear in like rock and blues songs and so it just adds a little extra like oh that's interesting and then they they add the suspension above it they suspend the fourth so it's not there's like no thirds in there it's just again it's like this little bit of interest that they add and so to me um that plus the fact that the drummer actually gets to do like some fills and you know fun stuff it just uh i actually really enjoy this this song And I thought it was odd that it was really only included on like a first pressing, you know, when they released it in December and then they took it off later pressings.
