2:05
So can you enlighten us about that?
2:08
Yes.
2:09
Well, I think when suffering at a great degree happens, most of us want to know why.
2:16
Why did that happen? But sometimes it is less of a question and more of an accusation, and the difference is the person's attitude who's asking why.
2:30
See, sometimes you really do want an answer, and sometimes you just want to fight back and say, "God, why did you let this happen to me?" And it's not a question, but rather you're accusing God of not making your life safe, soft, easy, and comfortable.
2:51
And that comes from having an attitude that that's what you think God's job is.
2:56
God's job is to make my life safer, softer, easier, and more comfortable than usual.

20:19
What do, what do you believe as-- What do you mean we believe about new salvation? Because what do you believe we miss when salvation become the destination instead of the beginning of a much bigger purpose?

5:53
Now, what does that mean? And How should that change the way a Christian approach everyday life?
6:01
Well, so many Christians have grown up hearing preachers talk about, get saved, get saved.
6:08
You don't want to go to hell, don't go to hell.
6:11
And, you know, none of us want to.
6:13
But when we have accepted Jesus to forgive our sins, we think, well, that's all there is to it.
6:20
I guess now I just live until I die and then I go to heaven.
6:25
But God says, no.

well.

... really mean?
9:08
Uh, it, it's interesting how many people will ask that because, uh, to me it makes perfect sense.
9:16
You see, if God only wanted you to get saved and end up in Heaven, then He could take you to Heaven the very moment you were saved, but He didn't do that.
9:29
He lets you continue to live, and He has a purpose for that.
9:33
He is using you in this lifetime to mold you, to shape you, and to get you ready to serve Him eternally.
9:47
In other words, once you get to Heaven.
9:49
So when God saves you, He doesn't leave you alone.
