What would you say some of the skills and qualities that these organisations are looking for that students might not necessarily learn in classroom and lecture halls?

George ImafidonGUEST
Yeah, so I've worked at organisations like Google, JP Morgan, BCG, Lewis Hamilton, Raceteam, places like Prodrive, like one of the most successful independent motorsport organisations in the UK.

George ImafidonGUEST
And I think from all of those experiences, what I've learned in terms of the tangible skills that are often being looked for, communication is like one of the biggest ones, being able to not just understand the technical elements.

George ImafidonGUEST
So the way that I speak to an engineer is very different to how I communicate to the chairman.

George ImafidonGUEST
They're looking for two different types of information, right? So you have to learn how to communicate at different levels, the tactical level, the strategic level, and what everyone's looking for.
