So what's it like being a fire chief? What, what's your experience in the fire service? How did you get into the fire service? I mean, I know a little bit that you were in it from your parents since you were a kid, but how'd you make your way up to the chief?

So, um, that's, that's the unique thing about, uh, the Bitter to Brass.

I grew up in a firehouse my entire life, and so everything that you can imagine in just 10 years occurred three times over for me.

Different people, different relationships, different conversations, and what I noticed is over the course of my 30 years, uh, around the firehouse, three different firehouses, is that everybody treats each other like shit when they want something they want.

To me, that's never been good enough.
