Um, and the concern is, is he of the quality enough to, to actually do anything within those three years?

I, I, I think that, like, you, y- you just have to, your appointment just has to be about, well, what's gonna be best for the n- like, the next season or the season after that, right? And I think that, like, I, I, I do completely agree that your manager's your most important play- person at the club and, and it's important to get right.

But, like, you know, you're like, if y- you know, y- y- your Peps or even, like, your, like, Fergies or your Klopps or, like, to another extent a Wenger, they're all kind of like unicorns, aren't they? You can't, like, you can't sort of get your next one of those.

They just sort of happen.

And I always think, like, people sort of make it a bit overwrought really in terms of, like, trying to get the next manager.

Effectively I think the question is, like, is this guy, is Maresca the best option, you know, for, for delivering some proper-

The thing that frustrates me with him is when the ball gets played back to him, you know, it's, it, it, it's, it's always like, I don't think his distribution is actually that bad in terms it'll find someone, but it's just a touch, stand on it, get your head up, look round, play it.

And, like, by the time that's happened, you know, the options aren't as good as the, you know, a- as if he would've just played it first time.

And, you know, we see that a bit with Trafford, and we definitely saw that with Edison all the time whereby he was so comfortable he could play the pass very quickly and, and we could circulate it so quickly.

So that was coming.

Um, uh, b- legally sort of obliged, I have to say that he, he sort of did, you know, to an extent, you know, um, uh, um, redeem himself in the second half with a couple good saves.

And, you know, it was, it was, it was some of his good distribution that the second goal came from as well, to be fair.
