like what is like for example like something last season that you're like you know i gotta improve on this like maybe it's access or maybe it's you know getting in a tree and not making all the noise in the world it could be anything but like what would you say last year is something that may have costed you a buck or that you're like this could totally cost me and ruin a hunt so that this year you're like i gotta be very cautious about
19:31
yeah i think uh over hunting a little i don't know i didn't find a whole lot but uh just getting stuck in my ways like i said i've been on this property for 14 years and i kind of got like oh i'm gonna kill a buck here yeah completely forgot about this little corner of the property and then when i was walking out just happened to see a buck and then started hunting there that's where i killed my buck i hadn't hunted there in like four years yeah so i think getting stuck in my ways man and just like thinking everything's gonna be the same year ever every year which some a lot of time it is you can get a good spot it might happen but i think even if you've wanted a small property a giant property don't leave a rock unturned and just like uh don't get stuck in your ways and just and hunt fresh sign and even though you know the property just yeah i think just don't get stuck in your own ways and just like be a woodsman because that's what i did saw that buck That happens a lot with trail cameras, too.
20:24
Yeah, that's always how it goes,

32:35
yeah
32:35
and uh that's not the case man it happens so last year i kind of took a slow down just enjoying it man enjoying nature enjoying being out there enjoying having the day off from work enjoy uh just the real life stuff enjoying watching a squirrel i hate this don't get me wrong yeah little bastards but dude just enjoying it and uh going back to your older days i said a post on instagram was like think how proud your young self would be and what you've done When you went out there as a kid, it was brown.
33:06
It was down for me.
33:08
A buck walked out.
33:08
I was so excited to shoot a forky horn.
BrettHOST
27:45
i did it with aro like i my three friends that were hunting together i was like let's do something together and then they don't kind of don't and so now it's just me and my brother but anyway you've put a lot more effort into this and what was it that made you want to like solidify your boy band I'm going to keep saying that, by the
28:07
way.
28:08
Mine's transformed a lot, man.
28:09
It started in 2020, and it's 2026 now.
28:13
And all together... start at the beginning it was just some close buddies and they weren't as die-hard as i was and everything and i'm chill i'm a chill dude like i know most people aren't going to put out as much content i've been doing it for a long time but uh i sit there and teach them and uh it ends up like just leading towards different stuff people want stuff i didn't do this for money like don't get me wrong like i got some sponsors and i get free stuff which i love that saves me money and everything but the first few guys i had on it uh just like high school buddies and everything and They did it more for the money.
28:46
And that's not why I did it.
28:47
So we kind of had a falling out.
