Can you maybe speak to the thought process of how the institutions that you've been a part of look at consumer protection and policy?

Yeah, so look, I mean, consumer protection is a critical piece of the regulatory landscape, along with investor protection is one, financial stability.

There's different concerns, and regulators have some and overlapping remits on these things.

I think that with consumer protection, I think that there's... concerns about market abuse or concentrated power or unfair practices.

So, I mean, the consumer laws, I think a lot of them were written in the 1970s.

And so states are involved in this, state banking departments.

And then as I mentioned, the CFPB came about from Dodd-Frank, but the Federal Trade Commission has been doing consumer protection um, enforcement for, for decades.

My understanding, lobbying is this aspect properly? Yeah.
