So, uh, you know, what was, what was that like, you know, from the inside, how, how did companies survive or feel?

Gary PageauGUEST
Well, there's a couple of things that are out there, um, that, that are sort of like...

Gary PageauGUEST
It's kind of annoying right now because if you go on LinkedIn or places like that, they always say, well, Kodak missed the digital revolution and they really screwed up and that's why they went bankrupt.

Gary PageauGUEST
Yes, Kodak went bankrupt in 2012 and they're out of bankruptcy now and they're doing very well as a company.

Gary PageauGUEST
And it's hard for people to understand this now because in today's world, you know, we've got camera phones, we've got webcams, we've got phone, we've got cameras in our homes, we've got cameras on our cars, we've got standalone cameras, we've got all the action cameras.

But it's primarily, I just go through and I just say, you know, clean it up, right? And so it takes out the introduction or the pre-introduction, the chatter and all that.

Gary PageauGUEST
And then I go in and I say, you know, I clean out the, I use the filter to clean out the ums and ohs and ahs and shorten the space between sentences and things like that.

Gary PageauGUEST
But the challenge I have with that is, my host for my podcast buzzsprout does all that stuff too so it doesn't do the editing but i think if they're smart they would probably try and start adding those features but they've been having ai features built into buzzsprout forever where again you pay a little extra for it but it's They give you the transcript and they also give you the suggested titles and they can even do a blog post, but I really don't like those because they're very, I like to say a little over-enthusiastic.

Gary PageauGUEST
They'll say things like, your life will be changed forever once you listen to this podcast on how SEO can improve your business.

What were the first hundred members like to find? And where do you feel momentum shift from pushing to pulling?

Gary PageauGUEST
Um, so when I decided to create the newsletter, basically what happened was, is, um, like I said, I had a Facebook page.

Gary PageauGUEST
I was updating people on, on industry news and I was like, okay, um, uh, I had one of my potential sponsors saying, hey, listen, if you turn this into a newsletter, I'll sponsor it.

How does podcasting serve the community and the business? And what does the show do that the other content can't?
