You're away again, but I assume you don't mind that because you've had a couple of big wins away from home in this competition.

Yeah, look, it's been a fantastic run today.

We got the first round at home and then we went to Exford where we played Leinster Ren and Leinster Champions in North End, Kingpin to Exford and we beat them on the road and then we ended up heading up to Kildare, Kildare Town.

Then we had to go to, we had the Donegal team at home and then we headed to Colgan, Galway which was a big trek first.

Then we had to go to, which Colgate were the Galway champions and they were beating Connacht Cup finals.

The team we bet from Donegal, Kildrone, were actually the Ulster Cup champions.

And then we went to play Pike Road from Limerick in the last round.

And just before I let you go, a big cup win over the weekend as well in the Leinster Senior Cup going to Athlone and getting a victory.

Has it been strange since that McAllen Cup final to try and keep some order on things with the domestic season done and dusted?

Yeah, look, normally you play your McClellan Cup final and thankfully we were successful on that occasion.

You kind of switch, you get to a mode where you kind of switch off and think, great, that season's done, league and Cup double, you're absolutely delighted and you're buzzing and you think it's time now for the summer holiday.

But we took a week off, week 10 days off, we played the Mock Lawler final and...

Then we had another week off, so we'd be kind of tipping along, but we had to take a week off to keep the lads fresh and keep them going.

But yeah, it's kind of been a strange year with the new format in the FAI this year.

But look, you have to adapt and you have to move.

You were very, very close a number of years ago and you want to put in the best account of yourself as you can.
