An amazing golf experience my wife Maureen and I had was in Norway a couple of years ago.

We went up to Lofoten Links and I'd heard so much about this particular place from articles I'd read and photos I'd seen and I just wanted to get there and it did not disappoint.

It's at the top of the Arctic Circle.

At the right time of the year you get 24-hour sun and when we were there in September, we timed our visit to be there in September, you get the northern lights on it.

And it's just sublime.

What about courses that have just almost changed your perception of golf and perhaps, you know, maybe it's more modern golf courses or perhaps a redo of a golf course that's maybe sort of just shaken your perception of what golf courses are and how they can be designed and played?

I got in at the start of the digital age, probably 15, 18 years ago.

So that was a big change.

But you're right, drones.

I mean, everyone buys a drone, they think they can become a golf course photographer overnight.
