Let me tell you a scary story.

Yeah, Gary D. up here in Ontario, Canada, with a strange little story, strange little happening I had not that long ago.

I know I've had it happen before, but not to this degree.

Something straight out of a Twilight Zone episode.

I was at an outlet mall, and I'd just finished, had come back to the vehicle, and was getting in, opened up the door, sliding door side sliding door to put some bags away and i was always standing there and closed the door i kind of looked around the parking lot over towards where the stores are and just got this strange feeling it kind of went down my spine it was kind of bizarre because as i stood there and it was a you know sunny day clouds going by i think there were birds chirping nearby and some small trees but all of a sudden everything changed and that uh I wasn't sure if I was suddenly having a stroke or a seizure or something, but all of a sudden I'm standing there and I look around and there were other people going into their vehicles around me.

cars, vans, motorhomes, tourist traffic.

Let me tell you a scary story.

Hey there, Gary Dee here with a story about something very weird that happened to me back when I was in my early 20s.

Many years ago, I willingly but completely unknowingly placed myself into a situation that quite honestly scared the crap out of me.

I was an avid fisherman back then.

So late one January, I made arrangements to rent the six foot by six foot by five foot tall wooden ice fishing hut, also known as an ice shack or an ice shanty.

This trip was for me, myself and I, and fortunately we were all getting along at the time.

The shack was fitted with a propane tank strapped on the outside, which was then connected by hose to a small heater located on the inside of the hut for warmth.

And this just happens to be mine.

Back, I'm trying to remember if it was back when I just finished high school or maybe I was just about to finish high school.

I was looking for a part-time job somewhere.

Through a friend of mine, I managed to get a six-month gig or stint, a Kind of a neat little job, because what it was was that I was doing a data transfer, basically going through, oh, I don't know how many boxes, but old cardboard boxes full of medical records and photos, which were all private.

And I had to sign a release saying that I would not talk about it or anything else, take pictures.

Basically, it was working for a psychiatric hospital.

Yeah, this strange kind of story occurred back in the late 80s.

When I was a salesman, I did quite a bit of traveling.

mostly driving around visiting customers all across Ontario, Canada.

Also had some suppliers down in the U.S., so I visited some people down there as well.

I remember traveling through Virginia, West Virginia area, and having a really kind of freaky experience one time.

Basically, I'd had a full day of seeing some customers and potential customers along the way, doing some presentations.

So there'd be a house with a large yard, and then the next house down wouldn't be for maybe, I don't know, 100 yards or so.

So there was a lot of space between the houses, which was nice for the people that live there.
